Kayak in Carlos III Island+ Whale watching 5 days, 4 nights

Located in the far south of Chile, Carlos III island is a feeding site for humpback whales, returning here every year between November and June.


Day 1 Punta Arenas-Carlos III Island

Transfer from Punta Arenas to Faro San Isidro area to embark the vessel Esturion and sail for 7 hours the Strait of Magellan. On arrival at the campsite, we will have time to prepare our kayak equipment  and spend time watching whales....

 

Day 2 Carlos III Island

We will prepare our paddle equipment and board the Esturion once again towards Seno Ballena. On arrival we will start kayaking to see the humpback whales, birds and sea lions in the area. Return to Carlos III campsite.

 

Day 3 Carlos III Island

Today we will begin kayaking along green waters to the Rupert islet to visit penguins and sea lions colonies. In the afternoon we will explore the area around Batchelor river where is possible to see killer whales! Retunr to Carlos III campsite

 

Day 4 Punta Arenas

In our final day we leave the island sailing through the Strait of Magellan arriving in Punta Arenas around 20:00. Transfer to the hotel.

 

Day 5 Good Bye!

Transfer to the airport for flight out
