Driving 65 km North from Punta Arenas, through impressive "patagonian pampas", we´ll visit the Otway Sound Magellan Penguins colony. Every year between October and March, they come here to build their borrows and incubate eggs.
FD Pali Aike National Park
This park is located 209 km.North from Punta Arenas and has the particularity of been mostly covered by basaltic lava due to past volcanic activities. It´s possible to see large lava spills and craters. One of the main atractions is the Pali Aike Cave which is 10.000 years old and where human remains were found.
