Sailing to the Southern Ice Field

Day 1 Punta Arenas-Puerto Natales

Transfer from the airport in Punta Arenas to Puerto Natales (3 hours). Welcome drink and dinner aboard de M/V Skorpios III.

Day 2 Antrim Fjord

We sail through Sarmiento, Pitt and Concepcion channels. Arrival at Antrim Fjord for water supply.

Day 3 Pio XI Glacier- Puerto Eden

Visit to the biggest glacier in South America with a surface of 1.263 km2. Continue via the Seno Eyre and Grappler channel to Puerto Eden located in Wellington Island and home for the Kaweskar aborigines. The village doesnt have any streets only footbridges.

Day 4 Amalia Fjord

We continue our navigation through the Calvo Fjord where we will have the opportunity to see many glaciers suchs as Constantino,Alipio and Fernando.During the afternoon the trip continues via Peel Fjord.

Day 5 Montaña Fjord-Kirk Pass

Visit to the Montañas Fjord where we will have the chance to see some hanging glaciers and walk towards the Bernal glacier. Our final night continue crossing the Kirk Pass and Ultima Esperanza Sound. Farewell dinner on board.

Day 6 Puerto Natales-Punta Arenas

Disembark and transfer to the airport in Punta Arenas
