Sailing to the Northern Ice Field

Day 1 Puerto Montt-Skorpios

Transfer to the pier to embark the cruise.Sail acrros the Llanquihue archipielago, Ancud gulf, Chiloe archipielago and cross the Corcovado Gulf.

Day 2 Northern Channels

Sailing through Moraleda and Ferronave channels, visit to Puerto Aguirre a small fishing village. Continue to Pilcomayo and Canal Costa channels.

Day 3 San Rafael

Navigation through Rada San Rafael and Tempanos channel we enter the San Rafael Lagoon. We will embark a boat to sail among the multi color icebergs and get close to the San Rafael Glacier, a 30.000 years old glacier part of the Northern Ice Field.

Day 4 Quitralco Fjord

We will disembark and visit the thermal pools in Quitralco fjord. Here you can relax in the outdoor or indoor pools. Later afternoon, the cruise continue to Chiloe.

Day 5 Chiloe Island

Sailing through Leucayec channel and Corvocado gulf we will disembark in Quellon o Quelien for an optional visit.Continue to Yal channel to Castro.

Day 6 Castro

We will have time to visit this town, capitol of the island. A walk to visit the handcraft market, the church, the palafitos (stilt houses) and more.

Continue sailing to Puerto Montt via Estero de Castro, Lemuy, Dalcahue, Quicavi and Calbuco channels.Farewell dinner.

Day 7 Good bye!

Early morning disembark and transfer to the airport or hotel.
