Day 1 Coyhaique(Balmaceda)- Hotel Loberias del Sur, Puerto Chacabuco Reception at Balmaceda airport. Begin tour through the Aysén Region, crossing 45 minutes of Patagonian pampas to reach the city of Coyhaique. Along the way we are likely to spot pairs of Caiquenes (wild goose) and flocks of Bandurrias (Ibis) through the tall grass. Continue to Puerto Chacabuco located 80 kilometers to the west of Coyhaique. Arrive at Hotel Loberias del Sur, welcome drink, dinner and overnight.

Day 2 Full day San Rafael Glacier

Our day begins early when we board the catamaran and start the journey through the Austral fjords on our way to the San Rafael Lagoon. The route is sheer delight to the senses; the transparency of the wates, the majesty of the Andes Mountains wrapped in lush forest,the light intrwoven through the clouds, and sometimes accompanied by playful dolphins.

Sailing through a numbes of channels, we finally reach the Tempanos river, which leads us to the lagoon, home of the millenarian San Rafael glacier. After a visit of aprox 2 hours, we return to Puerto Chacabuco arriving later at night.

Day 3 Aiken Del Sur Private Park, Good Bye!

Half day visit to this private park located only 15 minutes away from Puerto Chacabuco. Here you can discover the rich biodiversity of the Chilean Patagonia at the Aikén Park where you can find four footpaths that go through 300 (hectares) of the  magnificent ecological reserve in the middle of the Chilean Patagonia.The Aikén Park has a Guest Center were you can find information about all of the park’s activities, botany, hikes and the region’s anthropology. The park also has a “Quincho” were you can enjoy shows based on local folklore and a Patagonian style barbeque.

Finally, you will be trasfered to the airport in Balmaceda for flight out.
